Hide tables / apps for users

In DbFacePHP, Administrator can access all tables and applications, If you want to hide some tables or applications for some users, you can create new account for them. This blog will describe you how to create user account and permission them in DbFacePHP.

Create a user account

Login DbFacePHP with an administration account, click the “Settings and Tools” >> Administration item.

Click the “Create new account” button

Input the username and password, set the permission to “User”(the first option), and click the “Create” button to confirm creating the user account

Set Permissions to the account

Back to the Administration page and click the permission link for “Connection/User” pair. Select tables and applications you want the account accessing.

Done

Login with the new user account, you only access tables and applications that have access permission.
